Thanksgiving Eve Community Worship

Each year, the churches in Aldie hold a joint Thanksgiving Eve service at one of the churches, as a way of joining together to give thanks for our blessings and help others who need help. In 2011, the service was hosted at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church by Rev. Eugene Pearson. Rev. Malcolm McMillan of Little River Baptist delivered the homily. Choirs from both Little River and Mt. Pleasant sang, and Pastor Rob Schoeman of Aldie UMC performed a special solo. It was a wonderful event. Fellowship followed the service, and the community came together in a special way. Donations of food and money all went to two local food banks.
